Rocky River Public Library provides quick access to popular, on-demand materials:
- Rapid Reads: 7-day book loans
- Magazines-To-Go: 7-day magazine loans
- In‐demand DVDs: 3-day loans
- Quick Flicks DVD/Blu-Ray: 2-day loans
- Video Game Systems: 7-day loans
Express Check-outs:
Self check‐out stations are available for convenience and privacy.
Drive-Up Window:
Our drive-thru window, located on the east side of the building is open during regular library hours.
Monday – Thursday: 9:00 am – 9:00pm
Friday & Saturday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
Sunday: 1:00 – 5:00 pm (during the school year)
You will need your Library card or driver’s license to use this service.
The window is for vehicle traffic only.
You may be asked to come inside to pay fines, resolve issues, or pick up large items. Teacher Loans must be handled inside of the Library.
Please note: Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic we are not accepting returns at the drive-thru window. Please return your materials to the book drop or inside of the Library.
The book drop is available 24/7, for returns only.
Holds Notification:
You may choose one option for how to receive a notification when items become available for pick up. Your options are:
- To be notified via e-mail
- To be notified via text
Your preference will be added to your account at the time of registration. There is a space for this information on the registration form.
You may also check the availability of your holds at any time online by logging into your account on our library catalog. You will need your entire 14-digit library card number* and your PIN number. If you are unsure of your PIN number, please request this information, with proper ID, at the check-out desk.
*Located on the back of your library card; for your safety, this information is not available on your receipt.
Once your hold becomes available, you have three (3) days to pick it up from the checkout desk.
Courtesy Reminders
If you select email or text notification, we’ll send you a courtesy reminder three days before your items are due. We’ll even provide a link to renew the items available for renewal.
