RRPL is happy to present our To-Go Series! We are proud to offer on-the-go technology to the community and we currently are providing our Hotspots and Power Banks! We look forward to providing more items as time goes on, so keep an eye on us!
FAQ’s
How does it work?
- To activate the hotspot, press and hold the power button until the LED display lights up.
- From your computer, tablet or phone, go to your Wireless Network settings.
- Click on the hotspot name and type in the password.
Where can they be used?
Our hotspots are great for vacations (within the United States), long car rides, and anything that’s within the T-Mobile Network.
What can I do with it?
They have unlimited data with up to 4G speeds and multiple devices can connect to them while you’re on the go.
How long can I keep it?
You can keep our hotspots for a 7 day period.
What happens if I lose or damage the hotspot?
The replacement cost for a lost or damaged hotspot is $90.
What is required to check out a hotspot?
You must be at least 18 years old and have a CLEVNET library card in good standing.
What happens if I’m late returning the hotspot?
Service will be suspended on devices kept 3 days past the due date.
Can I return a hotspot to any library?
No, all of our hotspots must be returned to the Rocky River Public Library.
Are there any things I should keep in mind with the hotspot?
- Keep away from hot spaces like the inside of a car in the summer.
- Don’t leave it plugged in and charging when the battery is full.
- Try to use the hotspots intermittently as they are not designed for continuous usage.
- Handle with care!
Let us know if you see anything like:
- Battery Swelling (can’t close the case all the way)
- Hissing or Sounds
- Odors
- Leakage
- Change of color
- High heat when not in use

- Plug in the desired device!
Where can they be used?
Anywhere that is not close to heat or liquid. Avoid humid environments and other electrical items. Failure to follow these instructions may cause injury, fire, electric shock, damage to this charger and other connected devices.
How long can I keep it?
You can keep our Power Bank for a 7 day period.
What happens if I lose or damage the Power Bank?
The replacement cost for a lost or damaged Power Bank is $50.
What is required to check out a Power Bank?
You must be at least 18 years old and have a CLEVNET library card in good standing.
