2025’s Summer Reading is here! So join RRPL as we recall the prizes within our books and find delight in this year’s theme: Color Our World.
Children
Over the years for children, RRPL has had many contests throughout the summer and winter, such as raffles for prizes such as a $25 gift card to Once Upon a Time Toy Store.
We also have occasional raffles among all participants – 2024’s summer grand prizes were a family membership for a year to the Zoo, the Aquarium, or the Great Lakes Science Center.
Teens
RRPL Teens have various activities, and typically reward them with tickets for a massive raffle during the summer.
To keep the teens on their toes, we vary the prizes and structure of the rewards.
Adult
RRPL Adult challenges readers by the books! Whether it be by the amount of time or the number of books, we encourage adults to never stop reading.
Our prizes for adults are often themed bags or baskets that may include gift card(s), books, and other fun swag.

Patrons will be counting the hours read – the goal is 18 hours
