The Computer Lab Support Staff is here to help you use library computers and scanners to accomplish any task or solve any issue. We also help with personal computers or devices and referrals for training or more complex research questions, and we maintain employment resources for job seekers.

For easy computer/internet access and up to $1 free printing each day, bring your RRPL library card or a card from any CLEVNET library.
(Guest passes are available on a temporary basis.)

Computers and scanners are free to use and suitable for any user.

  • For teen and younger patrons, there are more computers in age-appropriate environments in the Teen Room (1st floor) and Children’s Area (2nd floor)

Quick answers to FAQs:

  • Color printing is available
  • No time or login restrictions – use for as long as you need (Session time limits may apply during busy periods or on the scanners)
  • We are open when the library is open, and close 15 minutes before the library
  • All public internet computers have headphones attached and access to printers
  • Printing is free up to $1/day with your library card 
  •  If over $1, costs per page are 10₵ for B&W and 25₵ for color

Computers run Windows 7 and include:

  • Microsoft Office 2010 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access)
  • Multiple browsers (Firefox, Chrome, IE, Opera)
  • Sound and video file editors (Audacity, Movie Maker)
  • Sound and video file players (Windows Media Player, VLC Media Player)
  • Image file editors (Picasa, and Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 on the flatbed scanner)
  • Access to Library Research Databases
  • …and other standard applications
