Using the Library From Home
Rocky River Public Library is committed to providing Library resources and services to you during these unprecedented times. While our physical building remains temporarily closed until further notice, you can still use the Library remotely, with many resources available 24/7.
Here are some ways to get the most out of your virtual Library experience:
Online & Telephone Services
Adult Reference Service – You can ask our reference librarians questions by phone, and email. For telephone reference please call (440) 333-7610 and press ” 2″
Children’s Reference Service – You can also email our Children’s Department questions or call (440) 333-7610, and press “4”
Tech Line Service – Call the Training Department at (440) 333-7610 ext 3754 to receive tech assistance. This is a temporary service until the Computer Center re-opens.
Discover Expanded Research Tools – Our Library staff also assembled and vetted a growing list of free online resources for all ages. Resources include Internet Access, Benefits for Individuals & Businesses, and more.

Reader’s Advisory – Discover something new to read with our Book Harbor! Email the titles of 3 books, movies, or anything you love and we’ll recommend a book for you to read that is similar to your favorites.
Stream and/or download from our Digital Library for Adults or Digital Library for Children. There are so many options – digital books, audiobooks, graphic novels, magazines, music, and videos – that you can access from almost anywhere.
Use our Research Tools for car repair, consumer information, and more. You also can learn a new language and do genealogy research.
Outdoor WIFI Access – Free WIFI access is available from outside of the building.
Virtual Programming – Our Library staff is working hard to bring programming to you from the comfort of your home this summer. You can watch a virtual storytime with your kids, participate in a virtual book club, do an at-home craft, and more.
