About the Training Department
The Training Department at Rocky River Public Library offers hands-on computer classes and special topic lecture classes such as the Computer Breakfast Series.
Hands-on classes are held in the Computer Training Center, which opened in May, 2007. The Training Department offers approximately 20 to 25 hands-on computer classes monthly including introductory, Internet, Microsoft Office, and Photoshop class topics. The Computer Training Center is located in the lower level of the library.
The Computer Breakfast Series is held once a month in the Auditorium of the library. Twice a year an Evening Computer Workshop is held to discuss a special topic during the evening hours. The lecture series discusses special topics which are not covered in the hands-on classes such as Google Maps, eBay, digital cameras, shopping online, gaming, virtual worlds, health resources, etc.Questions?
